eBay Classifieds Group is a part of eBay Inc., the largest online marketplace in the world, where practically anyone can buy and sell practically anything. eBay Inc. consists of ecommerce sites such as eBay.com, Stubhub, Shopping.com, Prostores, Half.com as well as seven classifieds sites (BilBasen, dba.dk, eBay Classifieds (eBay Anuncios, eBay Annunci, eBay Kleinanzeigen), Gumtree, Kijiji, Marktplaats.nl and mobile.de). eBay Inc. also consists of online payment solutions including PayPal and Bill Me Later.

Jacob has grown the business (which is one of the fastest growing business units within eBay Inc.) from 60 people to more than 800 employees in less than five years and credits much of that success to the business’ ability to innovate and react quickly, without the red tape of a large organization. Each brand predominantly operates on a local level, with eBay Inc. in the background, providing innovation sharing, growth opportunities, operations support and other support services.
