I have worked on a really diverse mix of projects. My two favourite technical projects were building our spam and scam detection system and our automated marketing optimization application

Year 1 after lots of hard work I was walking in the Montreal airport wearing a Kijiji t-shirt. From across the large ticketing hall I heard someone screaming, “Kijiji! Kijiji!” When I turned it was the ticketing agent behind her desk waving at me and asking me to come over. She was an avid Kijiji user and just loved the site. It felt great to realize that people were benefiting from our hard work. Of course I sent her a few free t-shirts and am now known on our discussion boards as the “Free Kijiji T-shirt guy.”
