Entrepreneurialism. I had been working in a larger company environment before Kijiji which meant responding to customers quickly was getting tougher to do. I joined Kijiji on day 1 of its existence in Canada and it was like a blank canvas with tons of opportunity
Why do you like working at [companyname]?: 
It’s incredibly fun and I care deeply for the people I work with. The way most people usually feel on Monday mornings is how I feel on Friday evenings.
What cool projects have you worked on at [companyname]?: 
The original launch of Kijiji Canada was a pretty cool experience. I love the fact that I can say that I placed the first ever classified ad on Kijiji in Canada

Nothing really. Just want to stay happy.

Free feature fees on all my Kijiji ads
What has been the most amazing experience you've had at [companyname] thus far?: 
Year 1 after lots of hard work I was walking in the Montreal airport wearing a Kijiji t-shirt. From across the large ticketing hall I heard someone screaming, “Kijiji! Kijiji!” When I turned it was the ticketing agent behind her desk waving at me and asking me to come over. She was an avid Kijiji user and just loved the site. It felt great to realize that people were benefiting from our hard work. Of course I sent her a few free t-shirts and am now known on our discussion boards as the “Free Kijiji T-shirt guy.”

How much of an impact we have on people because of the service we offer
If you were to identify a common trait between you and your colleagues, what would it be?: 
Trust & Care. It is such a caring culture where people care about each other on a very personal level. It makes it a very safe environment to produce incredible work
