THE ROLE
To ramp up our CRM efforts, we are looking for a .NET Application Developer.
The .NET Application Developer will primarily be responsible for the continuity of the companywide used CRM system (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Service and Finance departments), the related business processes and application customizations for optimal business support. Main activities are supporting the business in defining their business requirements, developing (custom) applications and features interfacing between RightNow and other internal/external systems. This position also requires regular sparing with the local IT/Product Development teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Functional specifications and Application development: Work closely with the key-users within many different departments to align the business requirements with the functional/technical specifications. Also test and assure the right quality of new or changed functionalities that are delivered either internally or by the vendor. Continuously help improve the development work in all areas (coding, processes, tools and testing); suggest technical approach to solve business issues and know when to raise issues to the next level.
• Incident and Problem management: Supporting the users during application incidents and report these to the supplier and in case necessary define the prioritization and start an escalation to provide a resolution to guarantee business continuity.
• User and Configuration management: Assuring optimal usability for the users by assisting the (key-)users in the usage of the tool and functionalities through secure and consistent configurations for user and the tool.
• Availability and performance management: Regularly monitor the third party systems on availability and performance and review these results with the supplier on regular basis.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The person we are looking for has between 3-5 years of relevant experience in the industry, with at least a demonstrable 3 years of full-time employment. We need someone who can work independently or under minimum guidance. So we expect you to be proficient in the .NET language and preferably have good knowledge of what it means to work with large and/or distributed systems. However, we also believe that to be a well-rounded developer, you need experience with more than just one programming language and the ability to learn new concepts with some effort.

Additional requirements
• Experience with modern CRM (preferably RightNow CRM) and Business Intelligence systems.
• Strong communication and people skills, and enjoy working in cross-functional settings
• Ability to work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines
• Analytical strong; problem solver; innovative mindset and good feeling for business processes
• Self-starter, results- and detail-oriented
